This work has included a health advocacy campaign for cochlear implants which resulted in funding for adult cochlear impacts increasing by 100%.  It also involved a Breaking the Sounds of Silence campaign, including a photography exhibition and accompanying booklet and online video

I’ve also been involved in the Listen Up campaign and the successful launch of biannual conferences which attracted the world-leading expert on hearing loss and healthy ageing. Listen Up was a health programme targeted at changing the behaviours of tamariki and mātātahi as accumulated noise damage develops slowly and insidiously.

Through the years I’ve worked closely with The Pindrop Foundation. It’s an Aotearoa New Zealand charity supporting severely hearing impaired adults into a hearing world through cochlear implant technology and services.
